Standards and Certification Engineer for AV Services, Inc. will provide overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects. The successful Standards and Certification – Engineer will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple product testing and certifications simultaneously with project support to meet all deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage product testing and certification throughout lifecycle of projects
- Facilitate effective communication amongst team members, ensuring clarity on product testing
- Collaborate with team throughout Lifecyle of product testing and certification
- Manage to the budget throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management
- Prepare and deliver presentations, status reports, and project updates as required
- Review final design for room types, quantities, and layouts
- Manage to the standard process of onboarding and testing of all new products
- Collect and maintain all required documentation
- Attend all weekly internal and external project and team meetings
- Maintain Engineer Product Tracker continuously up to date with current project status for entire portfolio of work
- Meet all established milestones
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 to 5 years’ experience in AV field installations
- 3 years Managerial experience
- CTS Certified
- Computer Skills- Word, Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet, QSYS, AMX, etc.
- Full understanding of audio and video programs
- Ability to travel
