You must have experience in the creation of content for consumers and patients, and be proficient in a broad range of medical topics. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build innovative, consumer-focused features, be effective at driving detailed deliverables on time, be comfortable working closely with multi-functional teams, engage in open discussion and debate well, and not shy away from a challenge.Description Candidates must possess broad and deep subject matter expertise in general medicine and lifestyle behaviors. Candidates must have expertise in writing patient or user-facing health content and be comfortable working across different content mediums. Responsibilities include:Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scientifically grounded health content for consumers.Understand what health information consumers are interested in learning about.Stay up to date with the scientific literature and expert opinion on a variety of health and lifestyle topics and engage with internal and external authorities, as needed to deliver the content.Build content outlines that identify the scientific topics to be covered.Proofread and edit content to ensure scientific accuracy while maintaining Apple tone and voice.Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and content production teams on execution of content.Communicate and cultivate relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners.Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks.Minimum Qualifications MD or DOBoard certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency MedicinePreferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in clinical practiceExpertise in nutrition or fitnessExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify sophisticated clinical concepts and communicate these to non-medical team members.Independent self-starter who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
