DaBella, a leader in the home improvement industry and an Inc 5000 recognized company, is seeking a talented Creative Services Specialist to join our team in Austin. This full-time, onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic marketing efforts through both graphic design and video production.

Compensation: $25 an hour, 40 hours per week

Position Type: Full Time (8AM-5PM Monday-Friday)

DaBella, a leader in the home improvement space and Inc 5000 recognized company, has an immediate opportunity for a Video Editor and Creative Services Coordinator. This full-time position is onsite in our Austin location.

Responsibilities:
  • Content Production: Plan, shoot, edit, and design various content, including training videos, commercials, and company announcements, following brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with the Executive Team, regional leaders, and teammates. Communicate with honesty, openness, and directness, and receive creative direction and critiques constructively.
  • Video Equipment & Software: Operate and maintain camera equipment and digital editing platforms. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure equipment is ready for use.
  • Project Coordination: Manage timelines and deliverables by tracking schedules, deadlines, and milestones for marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Data Management: Monitor and update spreadsheets to track budgets, project progress, and campaign data with accuracy and accessibility.
  • Shipping & Inventory Coordination: Oversee the shipment of marketing materials and promotional assets, ensuring timely delivery and sufficient stock levels.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Compile project reports, meeting notes, and other documentation to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between marketing, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Dropbox Knowledge: Utilize Dropbox effectively for file management and collaboration.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Video Production: Manage all aspects of video production, including storyboarding, scripting, and location scouting. Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to produce high-quality content.
  • Editing Expertise: Edit raw footage to meet brand standards with quick turnaround times. Use editing software to apply color correction, soundtracks, on-screen graphics, and transitions.
  • Brand Compliance: Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, including style, color, and font usage.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Organize and maintain video equipment to ensure optimal functionality and readiness.
  • Production Scheduling & Quality Control: Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Review and enhance video quality to align with goals.
  • Teamwork & Attitude: Maintain a positive, detail-oriented mindset and foster collaboration across departments
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree in marketing, design or related professional experience is a plus.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere After Effects and Final Cut). 1-2 years of video editing experience.
