We are excited to hire a Live Production and Graphics Coordinator! This position will support the creation of graphics and video content across all ThunderVision production and programming platforms, including stadium events. This individual will assist in programming and supporting control room systems and will be responsible for ensuring that technology is appropriately managed between SMC and its event clients. Additional duties, as assigned by the Manager of ThunderVision, may include providing technical assistance and production support. It is important that the Live Production and Graphics Coordinator stays current with technology and industry trends and participates in industry forums, workshops, and professional development training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility
Adherence and commitment to Denver Broncos and SMC branding as demonstrated by:
Creation of graphics and video content across all production and programming platformsBrainstorming and developing new looks, designs, and layouts as appropriateCreating and/or acquiring media content for video displaysCollaborating in the design and build of content within the Ross Video ecosystemLoading, creating playlists and playing back content on LEDs, IPTV and Videoboard for stadium events.
Support proper programming and operation of the Control Room System by:
Supporting in the creation, loading, and execution of content for stadium events including Denver Broncos home gamesAssist in maintaining the equipment - scheduled and routineProviding knowledge and advice regarding live production best practices
Remain current on the trends in motion graphic design and production art direction by:
Viewing content created by others outside of the organization and outside of this industryReading graphic artist publications and visiting industry websitesMeeting with equipment vendors and manufacturers to understand the latest in technological advances in computer designAttending appropriate conferences and meetings relative to graphic design production.Performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Media Production ,
Broadcasting, or related fieldKnowledge and experience working in a live production environment1-2 years of experience in digital signage, live broadcast, motion graphics creation and/or game presentationKnowledge and experience with Adobe Suite products (Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects)Must be able to work evenings and weekendsPREFERRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Production ,
Broadcasting, or related field.Experience working in collegiate/professional sports or national/regional sports networkKnowledge of broadcast graphics technology platforms (Ross Xpression, Chyron, VizRT)Basic experience with broadcast control room technology (Ross products, Riedel intercom system, Evertz Dreamcatcher, Daktronics Show Control / All Sport)1 - 2 years' experience in graphic design and motion graphic production1 - 2 years' experience with Adobe Suite products (Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects)Basic knowledge of Cinema 4DTroubleshooting and analytical skillsStrong communication, business, problem solving and customer-service oriented skills.Energetic, self-motivated, responsible, detail oriented and able to operate calmly under extreme pressureMust work well in a collaborative environment and work as part of a team
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $55,000 - $60,000. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed.
This position will be located at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO.
