Work ScheduleTypical work-week with some expectation of weekend/evening work based on priorities.Sensitive Position No Job DescriptionJob Description:The Community College Initiative ( CCI ) Program Alumni Relations & Communications Coordinator will assist the CCI Program team at NOVA and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs ( ECA ) by managing the development and implementation of CCI alumni programs and activities, maintaining alumni engagement, supporting the ongoing communications efforts for the program, and contributing to the administrative efforts of the CCI Program.
Duties and Tasks:This position will manage and provide leadership, vision, and innovation for the CCI Program’s communication efforts and alumni programs. This position is a full-time restricted position with the possibility of renewal, contingent on availability of funding.
Alumni Relations & Communications Coordinator will:
Provide technical and creative writing expertise for internal and external communications efforts in genres including blogs, program reports, social media, and highlight stories.Foster on-going alumni engagement through strategic outreach efforts.Oversee, design, and implement new and existing alumni programming.Manage and create content for all CCI social media platforms.Develop and communicate the program brand by cultivating relationships with participants, alumni, host campuses, NOVA , and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs ( ECA ).Support the CCI team develop program materials, events, reports, and other program activities and duties as assigned.
*This position is restricted and is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.KSA's/Required QualificationsRequired KSAs:

Minimum Qualifications:
