Job Description:The Community College Initiative (CCI) Program Alumni Relations & Communications Coordinator will assist the CCI Program team at NOVA and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) by managing the development and implementation of CCI alumni programs and activities, maintaining alumni engagement, supporting the ongoing communications efforts for the program, and contributing to the administrative efforts of the CCI Program.

Duties and Tasks:This position will manage and provide leadership, vision, and innovation for the CCI Program's communication efforts and alumni programs. This position is a full-time restricted position with the possibility of renewal, contingent on availability of funding.

Alumni Relations & Communications Coordinator will:

Provide technical and creative writing expertise for internal and external communications efforts in genres including blogs, program reports, social media, and highlight stories.Foster on-going alumni engagement through strategic outreach efforts.Oversee, design, and implement new and existing alumni programming.Manage and create content for all CCI social media platforms.Develop and communicate the program brand by cultivating relationships with participants, alumni, host campuses, NOVA, and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).Support the CCI team develop program materials, events, reports, and other program activities and duties as assigned.*This position is restricted and is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College.Minimum Qualifications:

Required KSAs:

Excellence in professional correspondence, creative writing, and storytellingExcellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsIntermediate to advanced MS Office skillsAbility to build rapport with students, alumni, partner colleges, funding agencies, and internal stakeholdersAttention to detailStrong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skillsKnowledgeable about latest trends and best practices for digital content creation and social media useMust be willing and able to travel (domestically and internationally) for program-wide eventsMinimum Qualifications:

Immaculate writing abilities.Experience in Media, Communications, or related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power PointPreferred Qualifications:
