Summary:
Cosm is seeking an analytical and strategic Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for optimizing and expanding email marketing efforts, incorporating best practices, testing, personalization, and localization to unlock performance and drive revenue. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and highly analytical, leveraging data to make informed decisions, identify opportunities, and expand the footprint of these channels. The role will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively drive the launch calendar with an eye to constantly optimizing and iterating to achieve the best possible results.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Braze to set up, code, and manage automated and ad hoc emails for event promotions and editorial initiatives.Collaborate with creative team to produce engaging email content.Create and execute multi-variate tests to optimize email messaging strategy.Leverage data analytics to track, analyze, and optimize email performance.Ensure all email marketing activities adhere to industry regulations and maintain clean lists by regularly scrubbing data.Liaise with sales team and CRM administrators to ensure email marketing efforts are delivering in line with their goals.Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Product to create and set up Braze requirements for automation and personalization.Design, develop, and manage automated email campaigns in partnership with the Product Marketing manager for venues.Create automated email workflows, including welcome sequences, nurture campaigns, and retention strategies, as identified and defined by the Product Marketing manager for venues.Create automated email workflows, including welcome sequences, nurture campaigns, and retention strategies, as identified and defined by the Product Marketing manager for venues.Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting on campaign effectiveness and performance to plan, in partnership with the Strategy team. Provide data-driven analysis of initiatives, using data to guide future optimizations of all elements of our email programs.Manage external vendor relationships.Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent preferredProven experience in email marketing, including campaign development, execution, and analysis.Functional knowledge of HTML and CSS.Proficiency in CRM platforms, particularly Braze.Strong copywriting and editing skills.Excellent project management and organizational abilities.Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, PostHog)Understands digital analytics tools including GA4 (Google Analytics.)Knowledge of MS Office software & Google Suite.Experience working alongside product marketing and product teams preferred.Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 to $140,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
