What We Do/Project Coordinator -
Owned Media Tech Ops supports the Director
- Owned Media Tech Ops in the
execution of strategic functions related to media operations
(i.e., discrepancy resolution, systems enhancement, media asset management, log schedule creation, renewal initiatives, live events management, etc.). This role will be responsible for the
execution of linear and non-linear procedures ,
implementation of broadcast logs
to
specified network(s)
and can
assist media strategists and coordinators
within SGM Owned & Operated team in the execution of broadcast media. This role may require to be available to
investigate & troubleshoot issues
related to
network media strategies during off hours.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role • ssist team with
data entry support
for
linear and nonlinear workflows
for HBO/MAX & Corporate - Social Goods, Affiliate Renewals, Portfolio Cross channel •
Assist with data validation and data discrepancies
across the Owned Media & Marketing Intelligence teams. •
Direct Media Specialist and Coordinators on broadcast operations
and
providing onboard support as deemed necessary . •
Resolve discrepancy reports
from the Broadcast Center regarding promos and secondary events during the workday and outside normal business hours, as necessary. •
Assist the team with daily broadcast linear & non-linear media schedules where needed . Includes but not limited to vacation, off-site, advance log schedules, and overflow coverage. •
Interface with various internal business partners to ensure broadcast procedures
are adhered to for live events, network simulcasts, and various high priority programs & specials.
Must Have Skills / Requirements 1) ttention to Detail a. Time management, self-starter, knows when to take initiative, etc. 2) Math skills a. bility to review reports, ratings, analysis, basic comprehension. 3) Communication Skills a. Will be communicating with external and internal stakeholders and senior management.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements •
Working knowledge of traffic and scheduling systems
a plus but not required (i.e. Gabriel, GRiP it, AWM, On-Air Pro, etc.) • Working knowledge of workflow production system , a plus but not required •
Understanding of non-linear platforms and strategy implementation
a plus
Soft Skills/Preferred Background 1) Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills 2 ) Background in Media 3) Strong attention to detail, with a sense of urgency when applicable 4)
Knowledge of media planning & strategy at a cable or broadcast network 5) Understanding of the
campaign strategies of assigned DCI networks
