Our client, a large scale entertainment and streaming brand, is seeking a Media Operations Coordinator to join their team for a 3 month contract opportunity onsite in NYC. The Media Operations Coordinator supports the Director of Owned Media Tech Ops in managing media operations across both linear and non-linear channels. This role assists with broadcast log implementation for specified networks and provides operational support to media strategists and coordinators. Occasional troubleshooting of network media issues during off-hours may be required.


  • Onsite or hybrid, must be in NYC
  • Up to $33 per hour
  • Full time hours, 3 month contract


Responsibilities:


Data Entry & Support


  • Provide data entry support for linear and non-linear workflows, including cross-channel affiliate renewals and corporate social initiatives.


Data Validation


  • Assist with data validation and resolve discrepancies across Owned Media and Marketing Intelligence teams.


Broadcast Operations


  • Direct media specialists and coordinators on broadcast processes and provide onboarding support as needed.


Discrepancy Resolution


  • Address discrepancy reports from the Broadcast Center related to promos and secondary events during and after business hours.


Schedule Management


  • Assist with broadcast schedules, covering vacations, off-site needs, advance logs, and overflow tasks.


Stakeholder Communication


  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure broadcast procedures align with live events, simulcasts, and priority programming.


Required Qualifications:


Attention to Detail


  • Strong time management, self-starting capability, and proactive approach.


Math Skills


  • Ability to analyze reports and ratings, with basic comprehension.


Communication Skills


  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.


Preferred Skills:


  • Familiarity with systems like Gabriel, GRiP it, AWM, or On-Air Pro is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with workflow production tools is beneficial
  • Understanding of non-linear platforms and strategy implementation is advantageous.


Preferred Background:


  • Background in media operations or strategy, ideally within cable or broadcast environments.
  • Clear and precise written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency when needed.
  • Familiarity with campaign strategies within entertainment brands.
