SEO & SEM Specialist

At Nasdaq, we recognize the power of SEO and SEM, and we are looking for someone to take our strategy to the next level. In this role, you will help shape Nasdaq's digital brand by providing key insights and recommendations for the Nasdaq.com website, including traffic and keyword trends, content performance, and user experience. While this role will primarily focus on SEO, you will also need to take a lead role on all SEM campaigns including researching, strategizing, and reporting on a dynamic mix of paid search opportunities.

In this highly cross-functional role, you will partner closely with our SEO and SEM agencies, web analytics team, technology team, product managers, and senior management to inform, educate and measure the total business impact of our web optimizations. We want someone dedicated to building a culture of data driven decisions across our content and technical initiatives.

You will need the following skills and experience:Champion SEO/SEM throughout the organization by providing meaningful insights on ways to measure content performance and page rankingLeverage and manage internal resources (SEO tools, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4) to pull together the search traffic story by exposing challenges, defining optimization methodology, and identifying appropriate sources of data/insightsDeliver search engine marketing and competitor insights to accelerate organic growth and increase engagement within nasdaq.com by business area, product category and customer segmentPartner with other subject matter experts to execute actions based on SEO recommendations and assist with analytics tagging implementation to improve key page metricsResearch and develop a testing strategy to gain insights and improve the customer experienceEnsure organic traffic priorities are reflected in content and tech strategy roadmap and executionManage our SEO agency by defining priorities and opportunities for CRO testing on Nasdaq.comPartner with our SEM partners to manage PPC campaignsManage the SEO migration efforts for domains, ensuring seamless transition, optimizing for search visibility, and maintain performance post migrationCollaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute migration strategies, conduct pre- and post-migration audits, and monitor and report on the impact of migration on search performance.Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, identifying opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance website performance. Must be able to collaborate with development teams to implement SEO best practices, ensuring the technical integrity of the site driving organic performance.And it would be great if you have experience with:

Proven success in synthesizing SEO data, tracking and visualizing metrics for organic traffic, performing SERP analysis and testing hypotheses for organic traffic efficiencyProficient knowledge of SEO and SEM tools (Google Search Console, Google Ads, Bing Ads, BrightEdge) and traffic analysis tools (Google Analytics 4 (certified), Google Optimize, Google Tag Manager)Excellent communication and presentation skills - proven experience of presenting data to a non-technical audienceAmbitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job doneExperience in B2B brand marketing support, SaaS marketing preferredExperience working in content management systems with a proficient knowledge of HTML and Search Engine OptimizationExcellent quantitative and analytical skills with a passion for constant improvementExperience working with sites that have multiple locales and languages and an understanding of localized copy and contentCome as You Are

The base pay range for this role is $74,800 - $124,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
