The Office of Communications and Creative Services (C+CS) at Purchase College, SUNY is seeking a part-time, hourly Graphic Designer to join our team.

The Graphic Designer will support the Senior Graphic Designer in a wide range of production and design tasks. These include digital and printed marketing materials such as mailers, posters, programs, recruitment materials, and social media advertising. C+CS serves the entire campus as its central creative agency.

The ideal candidate has an excellent work ethic, expert skills in the Adobe Creative suite and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll need exceptional organizational skills to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a graphic design role
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
  • Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of best practices for both print production and digital design
  • Strong understanding of layout and typographical hierarchy
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all designs meet standards and maintain brand consistency
  • Candidate must submit a portfolio

10-20 hours per week, hybrid. $25-30 per hour. Must be available to work in Purchase, NY some weekdays. The position will start in January 2025.
