Join Us as an Industrial Designer!

The Industrial Design Intern is responsible to independently produce interior and exterior sketches and renderings for concept and production vehicle products.

Responsibilities

A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

Ability to create high fidelity, presentation quality renderings and visualization of concepts

Ability to successfully translate sketch and rendered concepts into CAD or 3D model form working with digital and physical modeling teams

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree

OR

At least 2 years of industrial design experience

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial design

Ability to use Photoshop CS, Illustrator

Maintain the digital data library and other digital assets for future presentations and marketing team requests

Portfolios containing subject matter commensurate with the position must be submitted to be considered.

Strong communication and organizational skills

Critical thinking and problem solving

Previous internships or work experience is a plus

Ability to work independently
