Primary Responsibilities; Contribute to the development and execution of a content marketing strategy that drives engagement and leads across digital channels. Draft, edit and proofread short-form and long-form content for internal and external audiences, including podcasts, blogs, videos, case studies, social content and thought leadership articles. Coordinate the adoption and use of AI tools to create content and efficiencies on the communications team. Serve as editorial lead for marketing and general firm content on Searcy: maintaining an editorial calendar, generating story and campaign ideas and writing and editing news items. Curate content for the firm's weekly Monday morning meeting. Maintain and promote the use of the marketing style guide to ensure consistency in brand voice, tone and style across external and internal channels. assist in the development of select executive communications. Skills/Abilities; Excellent writer, with proven ability tom use principles of corporate journalism to translate complex legal concepts into clear, succinct and compelling content. Capable of adapting tone and style for different audiences. Familiar with AP writing style. Superior writing, editing and proofreading, including attention to details, regarding word choice, syntax and grammar. Experience with AI tools commonly used in content marketing.. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with lawyers and professional staff at all levels throughout the organization. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to identify and leverage communication opportunities. Exceptional customer service ethic. Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm environment. After 90 days this position will become hybrid- 3 days in, 2 remote.
