The Digital Content Coordinator is a driven and detail-oriented individual who is a key player in the production and daily management of email communications for the Metropolitan Opera.
This role works closely with the Editorial and Website teams and is under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager. This position will manage the day-to-day responsibilities of email marketing for various departments across the company and serve as general support for the Marketing team, collaborating with staff from across the organization to address key sales and business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supports the coordination of content, scheduling, deployment, and reporting for Marketing and Live in HD e-communications
- Maintains deployment schedule, communicates with and takes requests from department heads across the company
- Proofreads for clarity, grammar, and spelling, and performs quality assurance for cross-device rendering for all emails
- Uses our survey service provider to create forms and report findings
- Assists in the web implementation and testing of promotion codes
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in digital marketing or content development, preferably within a large organization
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
- Experience of working with a CRM application (ideally Tessitura).
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet research.
- Demonstrated interest in the arts. Knowledge of opera a plus.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Able to work on-site 3-5 days per week.
$55,000 - $65,000 a year
