Position Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Digital Education Content Manager will develop, execute, and manage the digital educational content strategy for Standard Process via the organization's educational platform ("Wholistic Matters"). This role will encompass the management of web and SEO capabilities as well as integration of content strategy in alignment with commercial initiatives, brand strategy, and sales and marketing focus.
Essential Functions
•Ideate, plan, and execute a robust digital content strategy for Wholistic Matters (WM), targeted to distinct user segments: "Healthcare Practitioners" (HCP) and patients and consumers, that optimizes user knowledge acquisition around nutrition and health
•Deploy evidence-based nutrition and health educational content rooted in Standard Process whole foods philosophy
•Stratify site content to achieve user engagement goals, attract target user segments, and address their respective areas of interests
•Analyze site and content data to target measurable strategic outcomes including lead acquisition, conversion, program sales, and other business metrics as identified
•Develop and maintain nurture campaigns for site visitors and subscribers foster brand loyalty and engagement
•Support integration and connectivity between WM and StandardProcess.com to support lead generation, customer acquisition, and patient ordering
•Align WM brand features to SP brand guidelines for a cohesive brand identity
•Manage overall editorial process for WholisticMatters.com and the Standard Process blog
•Manage agency partners and associated work, preferentially leveraging internal SP resources where possible
•Partner with the SP Digital and IT teams for WM website maintenance, social media tactics, email marketing, redirection, and link tracking
•Maintain and report site analytics to inform strategy, achieve key performance indicators, ensure ROI, and optimize commercial objectives
•Manage WM budget and forecast under the broader Education Department budget
•Manage and produce digital content including, but not limited to, podcasts, videos, infographics, and articles, with subject matter experts from Standard Process and its trusted partners
•Manage technical writing staff in support of digital content article development
Qualifications
Education:
•Bachelor's Degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Digital Content and Communications, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
•Secondary degree or certification in Nutrition or Health Sciences preferred
Experience:
•3-5 years of experience in digital content management, strategic planning, and deployment
•3-5 years of digital content creation experience
•1-3 years of website management and SEO experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
•Knowledge of website development and management (WordPress experience preferred)
•SEO capabilities and knowledge (Frase, CoreWeb Vitals, WordPress, Canva, Google Analytics, SemRush)
•Technical writing and editing skills
•Excellent planning and reporting capabilities
•Ability to analyze and leverage data for strategy direction
•Knowledge and awareness of competitive categories of nutrition and consumer health websites
•Ability to write, edit, and prepare educationally focused content
•Comfort in managing external vendors
