SALES ASSOCIATE
Home Design & Window Coverings

Sierra Verde Home Design creates custom window blinds, shades, shutters and drapery for residential clients throughout the Lake Tahoe area.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated self-starter to interact with new and existing customers, conduct in-home sales appointments and build relationships with contractors and other professionals. You’ll understand their design aspirations and functional needs and utilize your technical knowledge and sales skills to identify and recommend products to turn those ideas into reality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home design consultations for residential customers, explain products, provide quotes and close sales of window coverings
• Generate new business through networking with potential customers including builders, realtors and other professionals who rely on our services
• Serve as a liaison between vendors, customers, installers and our back-office team to ensure the highest level of customer care throughout the quoting, planning, scheduling and installation processes.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ solutions-based, retail sales experience including proven sales skills
• Experience in interior design and/or window treatments preferred
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with strong customer focus and an engaging personality
• Driver’s license required
