About Beyond Shades
Beyond Shades is a premier Hunter Douglas Gallery specializing in custom window treatments, including Hunter Douglas products and drapery. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality products to customers throughout Chicagoland.



Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a passion for window treatments, and a deep understanding of Hunter Douglas products, including drapery and PowerView automated shades.



Key Responsibilities:


  1. Drive Sales: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively selling Hunter Douglas window treatments, drapery, and PowerView automated shades both in-home and on the sales floor. Utilize your sales expertise to build strong customer relationships and close deals.


  2. Sales Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with leads and past customers to nurture relationships and generate additional sales opportunities.


  3. Networking: Build relationships with industry professionals, interior designers, and other potential referral sources to generate new business.


  4. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Hunter Douglas products, including drapery and PowerView automated shades, to effectively recommend and sell them to customers.

Qualifications:


  1. Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the home decor or window treatment industry.


  2. Hunter Douglas Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of Hunter Douglas products, including drapery and PowerView automated shades.


  3. Sales Acumen: Proven ability to close sales, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service.


  4. Customer Focus: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.


  5. Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and potential referral sources.


  6. Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and travel throughout Chicagoland for in-home consultations.
