The Role and Responsibilities
Head of Brand Design
Peacock is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative design leader to oversee visual storytelling, art and design creative in Brand Marketing and across all touchpoints of the org. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the next phase of the Peacock Brand and create a brand belief system, encompassing visual, tonal and sonic design, that will shape decisions across the company and build long-lasting emotional connections with consumers.
As the Head of Brand Design, you will be a hands-on leader, responsible for managing a core team of talented internal static and motion designers and partnering with external design agencies to develop and execute on the master brand positioning and strategy. You’ll give the conceptual brand work visual life and ensure all shipped work is on-brief and on-brand and promote excellence through modeling high standards & effective detail-oriented quality control.
This role will partner closely with its Brand Creative, Brand Marketing and Partnerships counterparts as well cross-functional partners (Title Marketing, Social, Product, etc. as well as across NBCUniversal) to maximize the impact of marketing opportunities through breakthrough, brand-defining creative. You’ll lead design presentations to internal partners and senior-level executives.
The Person
You are an experienced, ambitious, innovative and passionate hands-on design creative who will inspire, direct and collaborate on big, bold, culturally potent, innovative creative work that will send ripples across the industry. You like to take big, conceptual swings on ideas that are grounded in the needs of the business and help drive both short-term and long-term KPIs. You’ll bring a deep experience in design and art direction principles, a compelling point-of-view and perspective on what makes truly great work and have a natural talent of attracting creative talent and building world-class teams across a variety of design disciplines. You thrive on building authentic, truly collaborative partner relationships and will inspire an entire design team from junior designers early in their career to senior-most motion designers.
You’re passionate about conceptual design and animation for every medium from digital and social assets to OOH billboards to sizzles and hype reels to merch and everything in between.
You are entertainment and pop-culture obsessed, a master of understanding how entertainment and content can connect with audiences on a personal, deeper, emotional level. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience designing for in-house or studio/agency partner teams.
- Portfolio of work showcasing design expertise required of brand, digital, motion, typography, layout, form, OOH, packaging/product design, and composition.
- A proven history of designing breakthrough 360 creative marketing campaigns with best-in-class brand partners. Direct experience designing for screens, live events, social, merch, and multimedia spaces across all platforms.
- A successful track record of building and executing innovative and inspiring work for a challenger brand and differentiating in a crowded marketplace.
- Direct experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional partners (media, marketing, creative ops), internal creatives (CDs, writers, producers) and external agency partners. The ability to design for two distinct brand identities in a unified way (Peacock + External Partner).

- Strong track record of success attracting, building, leading and retaining dedicated and talented creative design teams and finding best-in-class design agency partners.
- Proven ability to proactively solve creative problems, self-motivate and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- An exceptionally creative ideator and communicator with an inquisitive mind that is comfortable and passionate about the intersection of creative, strategy, media, marketing, consumer insights and design.
- Ability to influence at all levels of an organization, utilizing interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a dynamic and high-pressure environment; able to evangelize the brand design system & champion creative work across cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
- Extensive experience making creative decisions in real-time based on qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing performance data and applying that information to creative design work accordingly.
- Strong track record of interacting and working with multiple stakeholders and partnering collaboratively with brand creative, marketing, partnerships, creative ops and consumer insights teams.
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Expert user of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, C4D, etc.) preferred.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 (bonus + long-term incentive eligible)
