Job Description
Design Gallery Houston is looking for a motivated and reliable Design Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, as well as setting up and breaking down design presentations for appointments. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities:
• Scheduling clients for their design appointments.
• Answering and directing phone calls.
• Keep the Gallery samples organized.
• Set up design presentations in preparation for a meeting.
• Put away all tile, wood, carpet, cabinet, and countertops samples after meetings.
• Maintain sample inventory and replace any damaged pieces.

SKILLS

  • Canva – The ideal candidate will have some experience in creating with Canva
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
