As a Design Desk, your primary role will involve leveraging your technical expertise and strong communication skills to drive the sales process and deliver optimal solutions for our clients. The Essential Duties and Responsibilities outlined below will be critical in ensuring the successful execution of this role and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Perform order processing functions through quotes, tickets, projects, and opportunities in ConnectWise Sell and ConnectWise Manage including the creation of detailed quotes and proposals, creation of purchase orders, and procurement of approved orders.
  • Procurement: Handle hardware, software, and license acquisition for clients
  • Manage licensing and warranty renewals: Ensure timely renewal processes for clients
  • Inventory management, pulling items from inventory, placing inventory replenishment orders.
  • Execute the RMA process to procure replacement products, refunds, or warranty repairs from manufacturers and/or vendors.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties according to company policies.
  • Work together with Technical Team: Research client solutions, including required hardware and software for implementation
  • Collaborate with sales team: Work closely with sales representatives to support the sales process and meet sales targets
  • Partner with vCIO: Identify client needs, prioritize proposal generation, and manage deadlines
  • Partner with the Project Team to create detailed project plans: Outline hardware, software, and labor requirements for successful projects
  • Create and manage proposal templates: Streamline proposal generation with easily adaptable templates
  • Technical expertise: Maintain a deep knowledge of products, services, and industry trends
  • Address technical inquiries: Respond to client questions and concerns, providing technical guidance and support
  • Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Master ConnectWise Sell and ConnectWise Manage: Utilize tools for efficient proposal generation and project management

    Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
  • Continuous learning: Stay updated on new technologies, certifications, and industry best practices to maintain a high level of expertise
  • Attend industry events: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to stay informed and promote the company's offerings

    Educational/Previous Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the managed services industry
  • Demonstrated experience with relevant technologies and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SonicWALL, Veeam, networking, and security solutions)
  • Previous experience in a customer service, account management, and/or sales role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous experience utilizing ConnectWise products is a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with various sales methodologies and strategies
  • Experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, SonicWALL, CompTIA) are a plus
