We are looking for an ambitious candidate that is proficient using AutoCAD and knowledgeable with both Post-Tension and conventional (rebar) slab design. This person must have previous structural design experience ideally in the residential sector.Requirements3+ years previous foundation design experienceProficient in AutoCADPrepare structural foundation plans for mainly residential structures using architectural drawings with limited to no supervisionAbility to read and interpret residential architectural blueprintsFamiliarity with PTI slab analysis softwareConcrete experience outside of Texas is a plusFamiliarity with survey plans, plot plans and geotechnical reportFamiliarity in building codes a plusAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra and geometryWillingness to work long days and weekends as requiredA team-oriented, proactive and adaptable work ethicWork Schedule:Generally Monday - Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.Benefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceAll hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States.
