Contract: W2, 5 weeks

Location: 55 Water Street, New York, NY (Onsite)

Pay Range: $40-48/hour based on DOE

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team supporting the Accessories Design Team during the holiday season. This role focuses on creating innovative and brand-right designs while collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design accessories that align with the brand’s conceptual direction and business strategy.
• Develop functional, stylish products with precise material execution.
• Create and adapt design sketches, prototypes, and specifications based on feedback.
• Present designs confidently to internal and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct competitor research and trend analysis to innovate new ideas.
• Collaborate with merchandising and product development teams for seamless execution.
• Lead and inspire junior design talent, ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a retail environment, specifically with accessories.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Demonstrated ability to create original design sketches and successful product lines.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Centric and TD-specific tools is a plus.
• Must be a proactive team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
