Hazen and Sawyer is hiring: CAD/BIM Designer in Virginia Beach

Seeking a CAD/BIM Designer with knowledge and experience designing and preparing contract documents for various water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ability to prepare plan, section, and detail drawings for various water related projects
• Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards
• Creation of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD base files for use in creating contract documents
• Attention to detail and communicate effectively
• Ability to coordinate with project engineers, designers, and sub-consultants throughout project duration

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical school with CAD design certificate or Associate Degree with emphasis on Revit preferred
• Knowledge of standard drafting procedures
• Basic understanding of water and wastewater facilities designs
• Revit and AutoCAD experience is preferred
