Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the railing industry, is seeking a Commercial Railing Project Designer to join their team in the Fishers, IN area! This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Commercial Railing Project Designer Job Summary:

Pay: $80,000+, Based on Experience (BOE), Direct Hire
Location: Fishers, IN 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural drawings to layout railing configurations and produce submittal drawings.
• Utilize knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and physical sciences to create accurate drawings.
• Include dimensions, materials, and necessary information to ensure clarity and completeness in detailed drawings.
• Prepare complete shop release packages and make adjustments or changes to designs as needed.
• Consistently produce high-quality work using Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's products and their applicability to project requirements.

Commercial Railing Project Designer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
• General understanding of construction practices, principles, methods, and techniques.
• 5-10 years of experience using Autodesk software to produce shop and erection drawings for a steel manufacturer.
• 1-3 years of experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Inventor.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
