About Us

Circle is building the world's leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.

We're proud to be a fully remote company of around 170 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.

Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we've hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!

As our first video editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our video content strategy. You'll produce a range of high-quality video outputs, from social media clips to in-depth YouTube content, that resonates with our target audience. We need someone who can take ownership of the video content from day one, setting the bar for quality and leading the charge without hand-holding. With your expertise, you'll establish best practices and workflows that will allow us to create compelling visual stories at scale.

  • Work closely with the marketing and design teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and bring to life video content that supports our business objectives and brand voice.
  • Manage the entire editing process, including selecting music, sound effects, color grading, and visual effects, to create polished, engaging videos.
  • Establish and document workflows for video production to improve efficiency, maintain consistency, and uphold quality standards as the team grows.
  • Keep up with industry trends, new tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the quality and relevance of our video content.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • 5+ years of video editing experience, preferably with a focus on digital content for marketing or social media platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent video editing software; familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for YouTube, social media platforms, and emerging content trends.
  • A strong eye for design and storytelling, with an ability to produce both long-form and short-form content that captures audience attention.
  • Self-driven with excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to take initiative.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and take feedback constructively.
