Sitting within the Retail Media team at HS Ad, the Senior Associate will manage the Amazon Search (Sponsored Ads) and Display (DSP) activation, implementation, reporting and optimization, to drive sales and business growth for LG Electronics on-site within Amazon. Daily operations for this role include hands-on-keyboard campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding, using Amazon’s platform and third party tools (ie. Skai). As this role is highly integrated with Channel Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders within the organization, this individual will have visibility into the larger Amazon ecosystem and play a critical role in amplifying successes and results for all involved.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport management of on-site Amazon paid media activity (Sponsored Ads, DSP) to meet business objectives and goalsParticipate in Amazon media strategy and tactical planning, assisting the team in media proposalsBuild and execute Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns, inclusive of keyword mining, category trends, competitor research, audience strategies, negative targeting, etc.Manage pacing and monthly budgets, optimal allocation between ad formats, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeepAnalyze performance for optimizations and prepare report share-outs, identifying actionable insights and opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Marketing, Creative, and Sales to ensure holistic planning and executionIdentify and implement testing opportunities to drive performance improvements and contribute to broader strategic initiatives
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field2+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related roleSolid understanding of digital advertising fundamentals and best practicesMinimum of 1 year or more hands-on experience in paid media planning/buying platforms (Amazon Advertising a plus)Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to develop data-driven insightsHighly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracyAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage competing prioritiesSelf-motivated with a passion for learning new tools and technologiesFamiliarity with Amazon Marketplace environment is a plus
