LG USA Social Media Senior ManagerThe social media senior manager will own LG USA’s social media strategy, content development and content calendar for LG USA’s cross business unit campaigns and always on calendar. Partnering with PR and LG stakeholders, they will drive how LG brand initiatives come to life on owned and earned social media channels aligning with LG’s brand business goals. The ideal candidate will understand how social media fits into the organization’s larger integrated strategy and will develop a fully fleshed out strategy and plan for LG USA’s social commerce program, driving sales through social media.

Key Responsibilities:Help to define and champion social strategy for LG USA social campaignsCreate and own campaign social calendarsOwn, develop and manage social commerce programs, driving salesManage social media marketplaces and develop plans for how LG can sell through social channelsDrive plans on e-commerce initiatives through social mediaDevelop full-funnel social commerce strategy alongside the e-commerce teamCoordinate with the larger social team to synchronize overarching LG social media content calendar and prioritiesWork with creative team to develop social first content to represent LG across platformsKeep on the pulse of social media trends and technology to act as social media thought leader for LGWork closely with PR and influencer leads on overarching programs and eventsWork alongside brand marketing teams on all marketing priorities

SkillsStrong communication skills both verbally and writtenHands on consumer and business experience in social media platforms Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest etcCreative briefing experiencePhoto, video and social asset production and oversight experienceExperience with social media publishing, listening and reporting tools, ie: SprinklrExperience driving successful social commerce plans

Requirements:5‐7 years of relevant experience working on consumer‐facing brandsBachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or businessSocial Media Expertise and tools for social management, measurement and reportingIn‐depth knowledge of and passion for digital and social media marketing, platforms and usersSavvy and knowledgeable about current social trends, innovations, tools, and best practicesUnderstanding of digital marketing ecosystemSocial agency experience, a plusSolution‐oriented person who takes the initiative to provide and/or search for answers to issuesCapable of managing multiple, simultaneous projects with tight turn‐around scheduleAbility to effectively delegate tasks and manage based on urgent timelines
