Responsibilities
The Director of National Accounts will manage the Group sales process. In addition, the Director of National Accounts is directly responsible for managing an existing base of prospects and growing market share acquiring new client and growing new business opportunities for both corporate and association business. We are seeking professional and self-motivated candidates with strong sales and marketing expertise.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following
:Sales efforts to achieve budgetary goals, meeting monthly booking goals and hotel revenue guidelines for the assigned Market Segment.Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed goals through telephone solicitation, CVENT, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.Work with other departments within the hotel to provide outstanding quality service to customers.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, organized, enjoy leading and developing Team Members and interacting with guests.The ideal candidate will have a high degree of attention to detail, organization skills, communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Delphi Knowledge a plus.Able to multi-task.
