This role is vital in shaping the digital presence of our brand. If this sounds like your next exciting career opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!Responsibilities:Work closely with our digital merchandising and analytics to understand our customers' needs and business objectives. Be the voice of the user and advocate for the user's needs while balancing the business goals. Engage in usability testing, gather user feedback, and iterate designs to enhance user satisfaction. Perform UX research, including user interviews, surveys, and analysis of user interaction data, to refine user personas, and journey maps, and inform design direction. Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows. Maintain and evolve our digital design guidelines to ensure brand consistency. Present design concepts to stakeholders, providing insight into your design process and demonstrating how your work aligns with user needs and business goals. Create product prototypes. Develop personas and usage scenarios. Assist with content and interface development. Troubleshoot and test to ensure accuracy across browsers and applications. Provide maintenance and enhancements for internal applications. Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability and troubleshoot issues. Utilize dynamic style guides, reusable code, and existing libraries. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce, UX design, and technology to continuouslyQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Technology, or a related field.In lieu of the Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in a technology-related field combined with 4 years of additional related experience may be considered.3 or more years of experience in UX/UI design for consumer-facing digital productsPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AMP, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery skills. AngularJS knowledge is a plus.Ability to translate UI designs into code.Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud- (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.) and Figma as well as Google Analytics.Experience with cross-browser compatibility and source control (TFS)Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and an intuitive grasp of what makes a shopping experience engaging and effective.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Ability to work with confidential data such as process, service, and product costs which, if disclosed, might have significant internal effects or minor external effects.A Bit About Us:Batteries Plus is the nation's largest and fastest-growing battery, light bulb, phone repair and key fob replacement franchise with a nationwide network of over 720 stores.
