Above all, you must know your craft and love marketing. You should be practiced in creating relevant visual design for multiple platforms. You’ll be called upon to art direct in a variety of mediums – direct response pieces, multi-channel ad campaigns, brand identity development, collateral, websites, social posts, broadcast, email campaigns – you get the picture. You’ll partner with a myriad of creative people, including writers, creative directors, videographers and editors, along with strategists, digital producers and client service to build strong conceptual work that gets results. Discipline and meeting deadlines are key. Multi-tasking is a must. But you’ll never have to go it alone. You’ll be an integral part of a creative team that brings out the best in each other and delivers insightful, unexpected messaging with a purpose. Sometimes you’ll have to sell your ideas to team members, client service and the client, so it’s important to be well spoken too.You’ll utilize your creativity and eye for detail to execute design for various marketing materials and campaigns. Working with our kind and collaborative team of graphic designers, copywriters, digital marketing specialists, and client service associates you’ll create and execute design projects, advise ndm clients on technical visual recommendations and/or issues, and contribute to innovative marketing concepts.Responsibilities:Proceed from creative briefing to generating ideas with copywriter, with guidance from the creative director.Collaborate with a writer to create concepts that are innovative, effective and on strategy. (Effectiveness is measured in clients’ results.)Develop sketches or provide samples of visual execution that strengthens copy.Work with print buyers to discuss paper, specs and folds, estimates on printing to remain within budget prior to execution.Develop layouts that are on strategy, visually engaging, clear and require minimal updates.Work with digital partners to make sure files are built according to spec needs and follow best online practices.Review your own work to deliver error-free layouts that contain all copy, mandatories, look at copy wraps, visual placement and overall flow of piece to make sure user experience is as intended.Complete work on time and on budget, meeting the clients’ expectations and living up to the ndm standardDrive the visual look of the brand, not only color and fonts, but in overall photographic representation.Preserve the brand integrity of each client.Work with creative team to develop a vision of needs for photo and video shoots.Build relationships of trust with key partners throughout the agency and resolve creative differences swiftly and cooperatively.Requirements:Qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, illustration, or related field10+ years of agency design experienceMust have a portfolio and design samples that demonstrate creative and technical skillsBe proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and be knowledgeable of other programs in the Adobe Creative Suite along with PowerPoint and KeynoteHave a great attitude, show initiative, and be passionate about marketingPossess exceptional computer skills on a Macintosh operating platformDetail and deadline orientedDemonstrate a strong ability to think and execute across multiple channelsKnow your way around a creative briefTeam player with an eagerness to collaborateSkills and abilities:Adobe Creative Suite (required)Microsoft Suite (required)Expertise in graphic design, layout, composition, and typographyColor theory and color relationshipsKnowledge of print, including but not limited to processes, limitations, efficiencies, pre-flighting, pre-press productionMac operating system (required)PC knowledge a plusAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordinglyBenefits and Pay:$90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on experiencePaid vacation and sick time off11 paid holidays a yearMedical/dental/vision insurance401(k)Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearWork Location: On the road#J-18808-Ljbffr
