Job Description

HII, Mission Technologies has a need for a Public Affairs Strategic Communications Analyst who will support the U.S. Army's Ground Vehicle Support Center (GVSC) located in Warren, MI.

GVSC investigates, matures, and assists in the transition of technological advancements to military ground vehicles and support system.

This position will require some onsite work and applicants must be able to commute to Warren, MI.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Serve as GVSC communications support specialist to the Strategic Communications branch. Provide public affairs planning and senior leadership communications coordination, executing communications tasks from a variety of internal and external sources. Develop and publish GVSC's monthly messaging guidance. Coordinate with senior leadership for messaging development and event coverage. Coordinate with DEVCOM, Army Futures Command, PEO, and other DEVCOM centers public affairs missions for message coordination and deconfliction. Maintain ogranizational overview presentation. Develop and publish communications plans in support of the highest profile GVSC efforts. Support ad-hoc photography missions with imagery collection and production. Minimum Qualifications

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience. Familiarity with ETMS2, SharePoint, WordPress, and Meltwater media monitoring systems. Professional communications expertise with a background in public affairs and strategic communication, event management, and community outreach. Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance. Preferred Requirements

Current/previous Army communications and/or staff experience. Physical Requirements
