Position Description
We are recruiting an enigmatic and energized
Head of Marketing
to steer the growth of the organization and its growing portfolio of brands. The
Head of Marketing
at BHAKTA Spirits plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s brand strategy and marketing execution, closely collaborating with the CEO, who is the marketing visionary. Although this role is akin to a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), it emphasizes execution, alignment with the CEO’s vision, and operational leadership in marketing initiatives. Company Biography BHAKTA Spirits is a global drinks, hospitality, and entertainment company founded by visionary leader Raj Peter Bhakta. Bhakta is embarking on a mission to help employees and consumers “Find Their Spirit” through thoughtfully curated drinks, lodging, and faith-based living. BHAKTA Spirits includes an inspired suite of brands through which to further endow the mission, as well as access to thousands of acres of farmland upon which to grow all the inputs we will need to make hand-crafted, field-to-table products. Based on an idyllic New England campus in Poultney, VT, BHAKTA Spirits is recruiting all who are seeking education, community and a purpose through hard work and faith. BHAKTA Spirits provides access to individual & family housing as well as children’s education for those who relocate to the Poultney, VT community. Ideal Candidates Must Implementer— Able to turn the CEO's vision into a strategy and tactical plan to implement across all stakeholders in the organization.

Culture Leader— Establish the culture for the entire team. Manage the hiring and onboarding of essential marketing full-time, part-time, Contractors and agencies to lead our Creative, Digital, and Product teams.

Head of Marketing
you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of Creative and Digital disciplines within our developmental program: Strategy Development & Execution
Collaborate with the CEO to translate high-level marketing vision into actionable strategies. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including digital, social media, and experiential marketing, to drive brand awareness and growth. Ensure consistency in branding, positioning, and messaging across all channels.
Brand Management
Maintain and elevate the premium and unique positioning of BHAKTA Spirits and its portfolio of brands, focusing on storytelling, heritage, and product differentiation. Lead brand development initiatives that align with the company's ethos, values, and long-term vision. Develop a team that can deliver new brands to market, manage and grow the headcount with each brand while remaining lean and efficient.
Campaign Management
Lead and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and retail channels. Oversee the creative direction for marketing materials, ensuring that they reflect the brand's quality and authenticity. Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize campaigns and ROI.
Product Marketing
Oversee the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring that product features and benefits are communicated effectively to target audiences. Collaborate with the product development team to align product innovation with market demand and brand identity.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and high performance. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between sales, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Budget Management
Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact and return on investment. Report on marketing spend, campaign success, and financial impact to the CEO, CFO and executive team.
Market & Consumer Insights
Utilize market research and consumer insights to refine marketing strategies, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and industry trends. Monitor industry developments and competitive landscape to keep BHAKTA Spirits ahead of the curve.
Public Relations & Partnerships
Oversee public relations and brand partnerships, ensuring BHAKTA Spirits maintains a positive and high-profile public image. Develop relationships with influencers, media outlets, and key partners to further enhance brand presence.

Access to Waldron Gymnasium and Wellness Center. Employee Purchase Program – 50% off SRP on company products Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred but not mandatory. 8-10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the premium spirits industry, luxury goods, or high-end consumer brands is highly preferred. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and brand awareness. Strong experience in brand management, including the development of brand stories, messaging, and positioning. Experience working directly with a visionary CEO or founder is a plus, particularly in environments where alignment with leadership’s creative vision is key.
