Nature of Work: This marketing internship provides an opportunity to learn and assist with various marketing and promotional initiatives for the Colorado Avalanche. The Marketing intern position will support both the Events and Activation side, plus the Advertising functions of the Marketing department. Examples of work performed: Events & Activations Collaborates with Event Marketing Coordinator & Sr. Director of Marketing on the ideation, planning, and execution of Marketing events and activations throughout the Avalanche season, including in-arena promotions, in-market events, and more. Contributes to and assists with campaign recaps. Research and reports to team members on any and all trends throughout the sports and entertainment industry to help keep the Avalanche brand timely. Advertising Assists in creating, developing, and executing marketing campaigns that align with team messaging and target markets. Assists in development and execution of the weekly Avalanche marketing email platform. Researches and presents new concepts and best practices from other teams and leagues. Miscellaneous Required to work some nights and weekends for Avalanche games and events. Other duties as assigned.
