NOTE: Candidates are to be located in New York, NY metro areas only as this is a hybrid role where you are required to come into our New York, NY based office twice a week.
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to research, validate, and define product feature initiatives and enhancementsCraft every detail of your projects, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and client services teams to iterate based on feedbackCreate and contribute to deliverables to support feature tickets, including high fidelity mockups, prototypes, and feature specsWork closely with engineers to support and clarify their efforts while building featuresPartner with the engineering team to test UI/UX aspects of features you worked onContribute to and maintain design system and other team process documentationQualifications
5+ years experience designing complex products in an enterprise/SAAS or equivalent environmentFantastic designer - your online portfolio demonstrates superb execution of layout, hierarchy, spacing, color usage, typography, iconography, interactions, states, animation, and responsivenessFigma pro - can build scalable UI using styles/components/variants, effectively organize layers/frames/groups, and use plugins to automate large/difficult tasksResearch oriented - can effectively use quantitative and qualitative sources to validate hypothesesExcellent communicator - can collaborate with remote teams over video/chat, provide actionable design feedback in design reviews, etc.Capable writer - able to succinctly document high level feature requirements, write microcopy in the app, etc.Web tech literate - familiar with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, databases, Git, etc.) and generally understand how your designs will be implementedBenefits
