What does a successful Sr Manager External Communications do at Fiserv?
The Senior Manager, External Communications will be at the forefront of elevating the Fiserv brand. This dynamic leader will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth and safeguarding our reputation with compelling narratives and strategies to engage external stakeholders and build positive perceptions of our brand. Your voice and expertise will resonate worldwide.
What you will do:
Assist and execute strategic communications planning – proactively working across all aspects of our business to identify and shape external opportunities to build positive brand perceptions during key enterprise moments.
Deliver external communications plans and messaging to position Fiserv’s management team as thought leaders and equip our communications teams to amplify the company's success while mitigating any reputational risk.
Be part of crisis communication planning, training and response efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
Assist with our strategic agency partnerships – ensuring that all external communications leaders have the proper support to deliver on our strategic priorities.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
7+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, communications experience, and/or military experience
B2C Marketing experience
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary
What would be great to have:
MBA or master's degree
International experience
