We are looking for a creative, organized, positive energy Men's / Young Men's Associate Designer to join our dynamic design team.
In this role, you will be working hand in hand with the Design Director to execute on the design vision and development of multiple brands - think Express, Marine Layer, Peter Millar and Volcom. This is an opportunity for a pro-active designer excited and committed to working collaboratively with a friendly, fast-paced team while also taking responsibility for his / her own work.
Core Responsibilities:
Research, design and develop men's and young men's apparelDesigning item-based collections so that product stands on its own but also works within a merchandised group and fits the brand's DNAResearch Trends, Fabrics, TrimsElevate and Upgrade existing stylesAssist in Graphic DesignGenerate innovative new color combinationsCreate Mood Boards and PresentationsQualifications:
Ideal candidate should have knowledge of current trending Men's / Young Men's Brands and emerging trends in fabric, style and color.Assist in seasonal development as well as the ability to work on special projects.Experience designing for or working with off price stores a plus.Ability to create and provide basic details for tech packs.Must have excellent sketching ability in Illustrator.Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop. Excel experience is a plus.Knowledge of fabric/yarn/trim.Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others and cross-functional teams.This role is for you if you:

Hybrid 4 / 1 WFH
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
