General purpose:
The graphic designer is responsible for designing the Annual Benefit Fashion Show's branding, marketing, and publication materials.
Summary of Essential Functions
Create the branding, marketing, and publication materials for the Annual Benefit Fashion Show Coordinate with the Directing team, Designers, and other Creative team members to create a unified look and feel for the Annual Benefit Fashion Show. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create the branding for the show: including custom typography, iconography & color palette Create a packet of assets to put together social media posts to advertise the show, including but not limited to: a profile picture for the account, designer spotlights, team spotlights, etc. Design the lookbooks for the show & format the photographs + text for the show in an engaging and dynamic way Design the marketing for the show - posters, flyers, postcards, tickets, etc Help determine the look and feel of the show through regular check-ins with each other, the designers, and the directing team Create a documentation package for the show/each designer's work and advertising materials Create a unique and memorable Benefit Fashion Show experience for the audience and designers Communicate and collaborate with the Designers, Directing team, and other members of the Creative Team to ensure everything is delivered at the highest-level of quality and on time. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented and diligent to follow-up and complete tasks for assigned projects. Diligent, organized, and able to provide both practical and creative leadership Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Indesign Proficient in design for branding, social media, and publication Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled as a current, full-time (12 credit hours) MICA student in good standing at the time of application and throughout the recruitment and employment period. Achievement and maintenance of a minimum 2.5 cumulative at the time of application and throughout the recruitment and employment period. Conditions of Employment:
