Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates and executes annual social media strategic planning and engagement efforts including the development and implementation of a monthly social media calendar. Provides leadership and direction to other Bank users on social media, especially employees with professional pages (i.e., loan officers). Helps to develop content for social media, the Bank website, and other digital outlets to include taking photos, shooting, and producing video and assisting with graphic design when needed. Writes, edits, and publishes content and copy (including press releases) for multiple digital marketing and communications channels. Responds to online reviews, questions, and feedback in a professional manner. Measures and reports on the performance of social media and digital strategies. Manages the Bank's website including routine maintenance, updates, content changes and landing page creation. Oversee the maintenance and publishing of online Bank profiles. Leads external digital advertising campaigns including social media, retargeting, display, SEO, and SEM. Identifies digital trends and optimizes advertising spend and performance based on insights. Brainstorm and execute new and creative digital growth strategies. Produces, provides, and presents reoccurring reports to leadership and others regarding social media and digital marketing efforts. Takes and edits new hire photos, event photos and videos as needed. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Marketing staff to help develop marketing and communication campaigns. Work with the department staff to optimize and grow digital presence.
Qualifications Required
(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a 2-year college degree of a specialized course of study with course material related to the duties in the Job Summary. 3 years of experience in marketing, communications and/or sales for a business, including professional social media involvement or experience. A background in content creation or creatively inclined.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner, or other basic business equipment. Some nights and weekend work are required.
Qualifications Preferred
A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, and social media. Past work in social media strategy development and management. Working knowledge of digital advertising including social media, retargeting, SEM and SEO strategies, and display ads. Understanding of Google Analytics and other digital advertising reporting platforms., Proficiency in creative and graphic design software programs including Premier Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator. Photography and videography experience. A working knowledge of banking products and services is preferred.
