SUMMARY

The Communications and Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating, directing and executing the Bank's commercial marketing objectives. Responsibilities will include event planning, vendor management, website monitoring, managing communications platform and keeping track of budget. Additionally, this person will work with commercial team, senior VP's and marketing agencies to lead the creation of marketing collateral including creating presentations, proposals and other marketing material

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operational

Work closely with senior management developing advertising strategic activities and coordinating marketing materials and delivery that help drive sales success through various company client/vendor events.Collaborate with the different departments to identify and execute on activities which support sales and marketing in their territories.Creative development and management of all digital/online and offline marketing channels including print, outdoor, video, photography, promotions, etc.Ensures marketing displays, other signage and promotional materials are up-to-date and in compliance. Ensure "giveaway" items are used appropriately, and help representative offices identify/execute local communications and marketing opportunities.Create and assemble business development and project marketing collateral.Writes, edits and proofreads copy for marketing materials, including direct mail, signage and website.Supports events through logistics, invitations, registrations, conferences/trade show materials, on-site assistance, email communication and anything needed to create an experience.Recommend public relations and marketing opportunities.Conduct relevant market research on a consistent basis; monitor trends and identify relevant marketing niches that may provide opportunity or risk to the Company. Provide briefing to senior leadership and develop recommendations that may be of value to the Company.Remain current on emerging marketing and communication practices and market changes.Regulatory

Coordinates media events and is responsible for adhering to the Company's publicity policies.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
