What is my role?As an Associate Designer I, you will provide support to the Mens & Boys design team to execute presentations and samples.
What You’ll DoSupport the senior designers with technical information on presentation and CAD’sDraw/sketch silhouettes in Adobe Illustrator and manipulating photos for photoreal presentationsAssist in sample executionWork on the core line with the teamSet up data and styles in PLM system; BOM for both development and costingPrepare art for printing, request in system, size art, callout art colors on art CADsHelp to size art for sample development and productionSupport team with presentation needsMaintain the flow of samples leaving and returning into Design roomMaintain awareness of design calendar and help supervisor manage deadlinesLearn and understand the basics of the development process
What You’ll NeedPrevious experience on a Design team, with focus on Men’s and Boys apparel2 or 4 year college degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, Fine Art or related fieldPortfolio RequiredExtremely proficient in the Adobe Creative SuiteAttention to detail and follow-up skillsGarment construction & fabric knowledgeAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment
