Title: Project Manager - Team Manager (PMO Supervisor)
General Summary of Position:The PM Team Manager position will play a pivotal role in helping drive the strategic vision of the Project Management organization at Granite Telecommunications. This individual will lead a team of Project Managers in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of client deployments. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management expertise to enhance our project delivery capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Project Management team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
Project Oversight:Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive accountability.
Process Improvement:Develop, implement, and refine project management methodologies, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Champion best practices in project management and promote a standardized approach across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing transparent updates and addressing any concerns.
Resource Allocation & Risk Management:Oversee resource allocation across projects, ensuring optimal utilization of talent and tools.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Reporting & Analysis:Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting project progress, risks, and resource needs.Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and integrate findings into future projects.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field.7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:PMP, Six Sigma, Agile certifications desired.Telecommunications background preferred.Experience with SD-WAN, DIA, Broadband, VOIP.
