This position will be located on our Naples, FL campus. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. Main Objective: Conceptualize, plan, and create effective designs for marketing and corporate initiatives. Create cutting-edge, visually appealing designs for advertisements, working across multiple teams and balancing a wide range of deadlines and priorities simultaneously. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design original pieces that includes single-page ads, spreads, tipons, posters, digital, and more Ensure deliverables are accurate and high quality and meet corporate standards Effectively to highlight product features and benefits and solve design challenges Current on design tool changes and Adobe updates Continue learning about the latest trends and the Arthrex brand Ability to work within strict deadlines, adhere to brand styles, and prioritize work based on management's directives Ability to collaborate with other teams and receive feedback from higher management and stakeholders in a positive manner Maintain brand consistency and process documentation across all marketing projects Incidental Duties: The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in graphic design or related field 4+ years of experience in graphic design/advertising Advanced Mac and/or PC skills are essential Advertising experience is required Experience and education in graphics layout, design using Adobe CC and Acrobat on Macintosh platform, and digital design experience, desired Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Proven work experience as ad/graphic designer II or similar role Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop are required Knowledge of the latest graphic design applications, styles, and layout techniques. Ability to maintain brand consistency across all projects; possess a working knowledge of advertising layouts, digital design fundamentals, tipon layouts, poster layouts, and more. Basic understanding of marketing campaigns is required Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with focus on InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts, while holding true to brand standards Experience in print design as well as digital designs and knowledge of proper file setup Knowledge of graphic design principles, iconography, typography, color, space, texture, PowerPoint and computer graphics software such as Adobe Creative Cloud. Proven ability to design within print design space Proven ability to design within digital/prototyping space Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Microsoft Office/Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Mathematical Skills Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. Language and Communication Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
