Main Objective: Conceptualize, plan, and create effective designs for marketing and corporate initiatives.
Create cutting edge, visually appealing digital and/or motion graphics for internal and external use, with the ability to work across multiple teams, balancing a wide range of deadlines and prorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of asset production.
Ultimately, ensuring the final product promotes the Arthrex brand through the creation of high-quality digital graphics, while effectively communicating the stakeholder vision and desired tone.
Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design and execute original digital and/or motion graphics for internal and external communications, and marketing initiatives Create compelling digital graphics and packages that uphold global corporate brand and standards Ensure consistency across projects and between team members according to brand standards Utilize approved digital assets found in the internal digital asset management system and approved sources Facilitate revisions of existing visual communications assets Maintain digital signage system promoting communication announcements, engagement campaigns, and marketing initiatives Maintain project status within the Arthrex workflow management tool Keep abreast of the latest design trends, and implement to brand where appropriate Incidental Duties: The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in graphic design or related field 4+ years of professional graphic design or motion design experience, preferably with medical device company or agency equivalent with medical device or healthcare marketing accounts Intermediate Macintosh and/or PC computer skills are essential Proven ability within graphic, visual and motion design space Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Proven work experience as a Visual Communications Designer I, or similar role Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with focus on After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Great current aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts, while holding true to brand standards Have excellent attention to detail, a passion for creating visually compelling content, and a desire to deliver high quality files Intermediate knowledge of the latest applications, styles, and layout techniques. Ability to maintain brand consistency across all projects and possess a working knowledge of layout for digital design and other forms of visual communications. Must thrive in high velocity and constantly evolving work environment and have excellent time management skills Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines Proven problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills In-depth knowledge of design principles and color theory Intermediate experience in motion graphic principles, trends, and best practices desired In-depth knowledge of medical device field or healthcare marketing is a plus Disciplined to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Intermediate Macintosh and/or PC computer skills are a must. Reasoning Ability: This position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Candidate needs to possess the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Mathematical Skills: Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements in necessary for this position.
