See the below role with a popular government contracting firm and apply if interested Location - 100% remote, EST hours, quarterly travel to Charleston required Pay - 60/hr W2 Duration - 3 month contract to hire intention to convert contractor as an internal government UX/UI consultant MUST HAVE ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE OR HIGHER TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THIS ROLE JD: Designers deliver value in the form of design decisions. Their job is to deeply understand the users in order to define solutions that are desirable, useful and usable. Work closely on user research, to validate critical user and solution assumptions before adding development work to the backlog. Responsibilities: UI/UX Visual design Pair with PM to prioritize Features Pair with PM to establish an Outcome Oriented Product Roadmap, Manage the Backlog, Produce Portfolio, Program and Team Metrics in Application Lifecycle Management tool (Atlassian Jira and Confluence) Collaborate with Engineers on Test-driven development, Pair programming, Evolutionary design, Collective code ownership, Retros, Short iterations, CI/CD Pair with PM to define and articulate product vision, strategy and roadmap Define business model Define Minimum Viable Product Identify and test assumptions Release real product often Understand customers Adjust direction based on data Constrain resources and time Coordinate with Cybersecurity to resolve items on POA&M Experience working in a DOD and Agile Development environment that combines Lean, Scrum and XP frameworks Basic Understanding of cloud architecture Ability to correlate requirements to specific tasking Familiarity with JIRA, User Stories and updating Jira tickets to with appropriate levels of content Experience with documentation (Atlassian Confluence)
