Digital Content Manager Job at Garrett Popcorn Shops in Aurora

Garrett Brands LLC. is the parent company for Garrett Popcorn Shops and Frango Chocolate. We are looking for a Digital Content Freelancer, who will support content marketing strategies to drive growth of our e-commerce site, garrettpopcorn.com. In this role, you will be collaborating with the broader marketing and e-commerce teams to develop content across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content and SEO

·       Create campaign content across digital channels including but not limited to web, email and SMS, paid search, and social (organic and paid) campaigns

·       Write web copy for landing pages, site infrastructure projects, or other e-commerce projects

·       Manage web content updates in the CMS

·       Research trends, identify opportunities, and implement content recommendations for SEO

·       Work with the e-commerce team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented

·       Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO 

·       Monitor and report on SEO performance

·       Support other content projects, as needed

Affiliate Marketing

·       Research and acquire new partners to grow the affiliate program

·       Nurture and maintain relationships with affiliates

·       Initiate new campaign ideas and incentives for the affiliate program

·       Provide actionable recommendations and develop improvement plans

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing or directly related field

·       1-3 years of professional experience in copywriting with writing examples

·       1+ years of SEO experience

·       Strong understanding of AP style

·       CMS management experience preferred

·       Affiliate marketing experience preferred

·       Strong creative copywriter and editor with excellent attention to detail

·       Committed to learning new skills and platforms

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to multitask

·       Tech savvy with knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO

·       Familiarity with project management or ticketing systems a plus (e.g. Jira)

·       Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications a plus (e.g. Excel, MS Teams, Powerpoint)
