Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,000
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Associate Director, Product Marketing manages and implements B2C marketing campaigns for a portfolio of open programs as well as the B2B campaigns within Columbia Business School Executive Education (CBSEE). This individual will also oversee the relationships with our various partners to implement and approve all co-branded marketing collaterals. This includes reviewing, providing feedback and approving all marketing materials developed by partners to ensure alignment with the CBSEE brand, while identifying opportunities to cross-sell CBSEE programs, with a particular focus on the Chinese market. The candidate must be fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese.
Responsibilities
Review, provide feedback, and approve all marketing copy (look & feel) produced by our partners using the CBSEE brand and identify opportunities to cross sell CBSEE programs, specifically to the Chinese market. Basic understanding of marketing channels within this region is a plus.
Work with the Director, Product Marketing on leading our Branding effort to come up with guidelines for all marketing collaterals (media asset, brochure, landing page, and emailer) for partner programs.
Partner with the Online Team to review all of our processes and timeline of new program launches to ensure that the Marketing and Sales team is consulted and part of the decision-making process.
Develop and maintain all marketing assets, lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns to support a portfolio of Open Enrollment (OE) Programs.
Oversees production and maintenance of content across mediums – from print and digital assets (i.e. website, collaterals) to ensure the program content is consistent throughout and to increase brand awareness.
Drives content production by way of interviews, articles, video, and photo, working closely with the Senior Associate Director of Digital Marketing on SEO/SEM.
Works with teams within Exec Ed to develop and implement strategic campaigns to meet pipeline goals, grow engagement and establish relationships across senior business decision makers (HR, L&D and senior executives), aligned to sales priorities. Works closely with the Learning Solution teams to build strong marketing campaigns.
Manages internal and external resources (faculty, agencies, photographers, videographer, etc.) to develop and deliver content. Contributes to the vendor/partner selection process, ideates on the content to be generated, and contributes to the selection of the distribution channel(s).
Assist with developing B2B events (in person or online) to increase our visibility and brand awareness among HR, L&D and senior Business executives.
Work on marketing and sales assets for B2B to support our outreach and communication such as collaterals, PowerPoint deck, special projects, etc.
Support the Director of Product Marketing on ad hoc marketing projects to support the Executive Education team.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or it’s equivalent required. Minimum 3-5 years related experience required.
Must be bi-lingual: English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with an ability to work independently.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be used to establish professional working relationships with both internal stakeholders and colleagues, external partners, clients, delegates, and vendors.
Anticipates opportunities and challenges, takes initiative to identify and implement creative solutions, and works well under deadlines and pressure. Must have the ability to project manage multiple competing priorities at once.
Fluency in MS office suite a must and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies (i.e., CRM/ databases and internet publishing tools). Must be skilled in copywriting and copyediting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in professional services and/ or luxury sectors and knowledge of the higher education market is a plus.
