Our client, a large tech company in NYC, is looking for a contract Creative Manager/Project Manager to lead the production and execution of large-scale marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including print, digital, video, out-of-home (OOH), social media, and event projects. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in creative production and project management, ideally within or in collaboration with a large tech company. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills to drive the successful delivery of high-impact campaigns. The Creative Project Manager will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating meetings, setting clear project timelines, managing cross-functional creative teams, and liaising with internal clients and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.


This is a 10-month contract role that requires 2-days/week onsite in NYC.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the end-to-end production of large-scale marketing campaigns, encompassing print, digital, video, OOH, social, and experiential elements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and deliverables, translating them into actionable project plans.
  • Establish clear timelines, set deadlines, and manage project schedules to ensure efficient and timely execution.
  • Organize and lead meetings with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, strategists, and other creatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external agencies, managing relationships to ensure consistency and alignment in campaign objectives.
  • Oversee resource allocation, task delegation, and progress tracking to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among creative and marketing teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and creative direction.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans to maintain project quality and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and production partners for large-scale projects, ensuring all assets are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Report on project status, milestones, and potential issues to senior management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • 8+ years of experience in creative project management or production within a large tech company or agency on a tech client.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, large-scale marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including print, digital, social, video, OOH, and experiential.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Basecamp, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, maintain attention to detail, and execute projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors or agencies.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to shifting priorities and timelines.
