A senior-level Holistic Media Planner & Buyer job is now available via The Keller Group in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area. The Sr. Media Planner & Buyer position will focus on holistic media strategy with a focus across B2B verticals. This will be an on-site position (+ great perks) as this is a highly collaborative culture that values face time.


Senior Media Planner & Buyer Responsibilities:


  • Serve as campaign manager working across multiple media channels overseeing both traditional and digital campaigns including campaign discovery, planning, deployment, optimization, and measurement.
  • Collaborate with media peers to develop integrated media strategies that best reach target audience and improve market performance (traditional and digital media campaigns)
  • Manage multi-media campaigns across platforms for clients including but not limited to planning, buying, negotiating digital and paid social media campaigns (programmatic, display, video, mobile, native, PPC, print/traditional, etc.)
  • Performing reporting, optimization, and analysis across all budgets, plans, presentations, etc. Pulling media pacing reports and analyzing against KPIs
  • Hands-on strategy and execution of media planning, buying, research, implementation, reporting, budgeting, optimization, and trafficking of creative assets
  • Consult with clients and provide strategic partnership in terms of media goals, campaign planning, recommendations, performance, etc.
  • Proactively develop market media proposals, research new media opportunities, and optimize current spend for optimum results.
  • Monitors media for pacing, delivery, placement, flight date discrepancies, and negotiate any make goods, credit, or billing adjustments when necessary.
  • Relationship building with media vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects deadlines and campaigns budgets are being clearly communicated.
  • Research and analyze media options and campaign performance to identify new trends or adjust campaigns to increase performance and deliver better results.
  • Negotiate with media vendors to ensure best rates and value are being secured for clients, as well as ensuring proper placements and scheduling.
  • Provide custom reports and present to department leaders and executives on campaign results.
  • Keep up with media buying and planning trends and technology.


Senior Media Planner & Buyer Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s in Advertising, Marketing, or related field of study
  • 4+ years of professional media buying and planning experience across all major channels (with a focus on B2B verticals)
  • Hands on experience utilizing DoubleClick Bid Manager and other DPSs
  • Experience conducting A/B testing and analyzing results.
  • Knowledge of when and why to use different targeting methodologies (behavioral, contextual, demographic, retargeting, etc.)
  • Strategy and set-up of pixel implementation and conversion tracking across tag management and media platforms
  • Hands-on experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills
  • Understand business KPIs and translate metrics to drive business outcomes
