RiverGuide, part of the 24G Agency based outside of Detroit, is seeking an experienced and energetic Programmatic Coordinator who is self-motivated and has a passion for marketing, advertising, data and campaign management.


This role will expose you to multiple Demand Side Platforms (DSP) inclusive of Amazon and Basis by Centro. As the industry continues to evolve, you will learn the levers that drive sales growth on and off Amazon, while helping ensure our team is up to speed on all the latest updates. You will be responsible for day-to-day creation, oversight and management of Programmatic media buys as well as reporting. You will work across multiple clients and with the internal programmatic team to manage and optimize marketing budgets to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Complete all tasks as assigned before the designated deadline
  • Complete self-guided learning activities and improve skills
  • Assist in the execution, management, and optimization of online biddable media (programmatic) campaigns across multiple brands for agency clients
  • Lead hands-to-keyboard build of programmatic campaigns in DSP platforms (Amazon, Basis, etc.), including audience selection and creation, campaign creation, and creative trafficking
  • Pull weekly campaign reports and provide data analysis to share with clients
  • Collaborate to Identify trends and best practices to improve campaign performance and share with clients
  • Assist with hands-to-keyboard building of PPC search and social campaigns, as needed
  • Attend client meetings and participate in follow-ups

What you will need to succeed

  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
  • High aptitude for learning
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrable knowledge of display advertising, specifically real-time bidding, ad networks, DSP platforms, attribution models, and associated technologies
  • Familiarity with topics related to inventory quality, fraud, viewability and brand risk - and the tools that measure these attributes
  • Examples of optimization projects or campaigns that you have been a part of and how you contributed to improved results
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot issues
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the media and programmatic space, including DSPs, Ad serving, brand safety, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with programmatic ad tech (DSP, Ad servers)
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Analytics
  • Experience with PPC
  • Experience with Organic or paid social media
