The Manager, Paid Media Advertising researches and develops media plans from the ground up, working towards client goals across multiple advertising channels. They are also responsible for the ongoing execution and optimization of accounts, including reporting. To accomplish these tasks, the Manager, Paid Media Advertising works closely with the Director, Paid Media Advertising and assigns out daily tasks to Specialists to assist in day-to-day operations.
The right candidate for this role thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the diversity of planning campaigns for clients across varying industries, sizes and budgets. Experienced in multiple advertising channels and mediums, the right individual for this role is a roll-up-your-sleeves type, who enjoys data and loves to constantly optimize and improve results. They also enjoy learning new skills, aren’t afraid to share ideas and welcome the thought of being an in-house thought leader in a specific channel. They also enjoy collaborating with other internal teams, including design, development, strategy and content marketing, to ensure that the client’s media plan is consistent with the client’s overall objectives. As this is a client-facing position for reporting purposes, the ideal candidate must also be able to break down complex data sets and marketing ideas into digestible and informative information to an end client.
What You’ll Do Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Campaign Performance & Reporting: Create, traffic, optimize, and manage paid media campaigns for clients in multiple verticals
Execute keyword research, ad copywriting, landing page optimization, audience targeting and bid management
Assist with developing, executing and testing across campaign variables that create client-specific insight and feed future successions of testing
Analyze Google Analytics trends to help amplify results of paid media campaigns
Create and update monthly performance reports, articulating insights to Directors and the Client Services team
Brainstorm/research targeting & copy ideas for specific campaigns
Management and Client Engagement: Serve as a resource for Specialists for advice and counsel – oversee career development and management of day-to-day tasks with the help of Supervisors and Directors
Support Supervisors and Directors with ongoing client and team management
Present monthly reports to clients, drawing key insights into how to optimize their campaigns better to meet their desired goals
Attend client status calls and keep them up to date on their campaigns
Media Strategy and Management: Assist in researching and crafting unique media plans that excite our clients with help from Supervisors, Directors, and VPs
Manage relationships with fellow Advertising and Search team members as well as Account Services, Designers, & Web Development to ensure all activations and deadlines are met
Keep on top of industry news and develop POVs to communicate relevant updates to the team
Job Requirements At least 4 years of Paid Search/Social/Display campaign management including experience developing media plans (at least 1 channel, preferably multiple)
At least 2 years of digital paid media
At least 2 years of digital analytics / reporting experience (Google Analytics, GA4)
Google Ads Certification a plus or willing to acquire in the first 6 months of being hired
Demonstrable experience working on clients SMB’s to enterprise-level media accounts
Ability to effectively communicate processes and tactics to peers, managers, directors, and other team members
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint (and Google equivalent)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills
Willingness to jump into new platforms and learn new skills; curious
Semi-hybrid work schedule requiring at least 4 days per week in the Cheshire office, with one of those days being Wednesday
